Amanda G. Taylor | Partner
Amanda was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, and has resided in Austin since 2004. Following graduation from Baylor Law School, Amanda served the Third Court of Appeals as a law clerk for Justice Patterson and then as a staff attorney for Chief Justice Law. Amanda joined Hohmann, Taube & Summers in 2007. Her practice focuses on appeals, commercial litigation, and employment law.
Since joining our firm, Amanda has served as lead counsel on approximately 10 appeals, has authored briefs in approximately 15 other appeals, and obtained a winning verdict as second-chair in a jury trial. Amanda has also handled several dispositive motions, contested hearings, discovery proceedings, jurisdictional contests, and settlements, and she frequently serves as an appellate consultant at the trial stage.
