Doug was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas.  Prior to joining Hohmann, Taube & Summers in 2007, Doug practiced in the area of civil litigation in Austin with several mid-sized law firms and the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas.  His current practice focuses on commercial litigation and business disputes.  In 2009 and 2010, Doug was recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters in the area of business litigation.
