Paul Matula | Partner
Paul Matula is an experienced trial attorney who has tried cases in courts across the state for more than 15 years. Paul grew up in Longview and moved to Austin in 1985. After law school, he worked in El Paso as a briefing attorney for the U.S. District Court. In 1992, Paul returned to Austin and served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, where he represented state agencies and government officials in matters of regulatory enforcement, tax collection, employment discrimination and constitutional challenges. In 2001, Paul left government service and joined Hohmann, Taube & Summers. He represents individuals and businesses in a variety of matters, including commercial disputes between competitors, labor and employment disagreements, construction litigation, collections, appeals, and personal injury defense.
